Kris Kristofferson
The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter and A Star Is Born actor died at age 88 on Sept. 28.
Drake Hogestyn
The Days of Our Lives actor died at age 70 after battling pancreatic cancer, his family said in a statement Sept. 28.

The Dawson's Creek alum's sister announced Aug. 31 that the actor had died. The 51-year-old passed away five years after he lost both legs in a hit-and-run accident.
The professional wrestler, who competed in the WWE and WCW, died after a years-long cancer battle, his son Gunnar confirmed in August. He was 63.

Alain Delon
The iconic French actor died Aug. 18, his family told the Agence France-Presse news wire.
Scott Bloomquist
The Dirt Super Late Model race car driver died in a plane crash at his family's farm in Tennessee Aug. 16. He was 60.

Susan Wojcicki
The former YouTube CEO, one of the first Google employees and a high tech pioneer, died at age 56 on Aug. 9 after battling lung cancer for two years.
The CrossFit athlete died during a swimming competition on day one of the 2024 CrossFit Games in Fort Worth, Tex. He was 28.

Kelly Nelon Clark, Amber Nelon Kistler & Jason Clark (The Nelons)
The three, pictured with fellow Nelons family gospel group member Autumn Nelon Streetman (second from right), died in a private plane crash in Wyoming July 26.
Samoa's national boxing coach (pictured right, next to 2024 Olympic boxer Ato Plodzicki-Faoagal), died at age 60 in the Paris Olympics Village July 26, hours before the Opening Ceremony.

Jacoby Jones
The NFL announced July 14 that the retired athlete, who played for teams such as the Houston Texans and the Baltimore Tavens, with whom he won Super Bowl 2013, had died at age 40.
Shannen Doherty
The Beverley Hills, 90210 star died July 13 after a yearslong battle with cancer, her publicist confirmed. She was 53.

Dr. Ruth Westheimer
Dr. Ruth Westheimer, the sex therapist who rose to fame with her frank conversations about love and sex, died July 12, her family shared in a statement. She was 96.
"She died peacefully at her home in New York City on July 12th surrounded by her loving family," they confirmed to NBC News, "just over a month after celebrating her 96th birthday."
Benji Gregory
The former child star of ALF was found dead in his car parked at an Arizona parking lot on June 13, according to his family. His passing was not publicly disclosed until July 10.
